In Chicago, we have about three months of consistent warm weather, and then the other nine months are breezy, chilly and cold, cold, cold. Due to this, it is too easy for me to easily slip into head to toe blacks and grays for a majority of the year. So whenever the sun comes out, I am certain to take advantage of it and throw around a bit of color. Although it is subtle, it is all the color I need to uplift my mood!

This linen coat is currently my favorite outwear piece in my closet this season. It is simple while at the same time it gives a perfect touch of color and flair to the sleeves. My lightweight duster jackets are always a spring and summer must for me, they are so easy to throw on and they can go with just about everything. I love this olive one and throw it over shorts, bodycons, jeans… literally everything. Lastly, these wedges by Robert Clergerie are one of my favorites! The entire heel is wooden, and thanks to his extremely innovative design, these are probably some of the most comfortable wooden shoes I have ever owned! In some of his designs, he separates the top platform from the rest of the shoe ever so subtly to offer complete mobility and flexibility of the shoe when worn because it follows the natural flow of the foots movement when walking.  I have had this pair forever but I linked a pair that I have had my eyes on below!
