English inspired tailored suits, alterations of the bomber jacket, monotone ensembles, blue jeans and parkas, endless prints and loud tones; Alessandro Michele knew exactly what he was doing when creating his new men’s cruise collection for Gucci.
You know my love for head-to-toe neutrals and I absolutely love how Gucci did this while mixing up an array of textures and fabrics to create a dimensional look. The overall collection embraces a very English inspired vibe.
In the past, we have seen Michele bridge the gender gap. In his Fall 2016 collection we saw black chokers on the men, and as with every Gucci show, he alternates male and female models. In this collection, we see his consistent love for animals and overall, almost a modern day aristocratic royalty with this mixture of textiles and embroideries.
